Greenwich Academy of Music & Drama was founded in 2008 and is an educational performing arts academy that provides music making opportunities for people living, working, and at school in and around the Royal Borough of Greenwich.

We run a range of ensembles which include wind, brass, percussion players and singers and are committed to supporting the musical development of children and adults through exciting musical experiences, classes and performances.

Our mission is to provide our members with the opportunity to learn and perform in a positive, friendly environment which is both inspiring and above all, of high artistic quality.

BAND FOR BABIES

Band for Babies provides live musical experiences with concerts for children not yet old enough to learn musical instruments so that they can build confidence, develop social interaction and improve their understanding and appreciation.

GREENWICH WIND ENSEMBLE

GWE is aimed at children who play wind, brass or percussion and are looking for informal ensemble playing experiences with a pathway for progressing into our advanced Greenwich Youth Band.

GREENWICH YOUTH BAND

GYB is our advanced, full size symphonic wind band for children aged 11-19, minimum standard grade 6.

GREENWICH COMMUNITY CHOIR

GCC is a friendly informal adult choir for anyone who enjoys singing - no experience necessary.
