Greenwich Stage Right - Marlborough and Charlton:
Stage Right are fully inclusive performing arts groups aimed primarily at children with special needs, but including children in mainstream education, and are led by experienced, specialised performing arts teachers. Stage Right provides members with a way to access performance appropriate to their individual needs. Participants, aged between 8 and 19 years, are encouraged to use music, drama, and dance to develop confidence, performance and communication skills
The Stage Right philosophy is that everyone should achieve their potential in performing arts no matter what their starting point.
• Sessions include: a whole group warm up, smaller group activities and whole group cool downs and relaxation.
• DANCE activities include: Expressive, communicative, and character work.
• DRAMA activities include: Voice projection, role-play, confidence building exercises and mini productions
• MUSIC activities include: Exploration of voice and percussive instruments, sound beam, composition and small group performances.
• Participants work in pairs, groups and individually.
• OT and physiotherapy needs will be considered wherever possible.
There will also be opportunities to perform with other GAMD ensembles. In the last two years, Stage Right (Marlborough) have performed several times with the Greenwich Youth Band, the Greenwich Community Choir, and the Greenwich Concert Band.

THURSDAY 4-.5.30pm during term-time @ Charlton School, Charlton Park Road, Charlton, London, SE7 8HX.
